This policy explains what data RJNI ("we", "us") collects through rjni.dev and the RJNI software (together, the "Service"), and why. RJNI is operated by a sole trader based in England, and this policy is written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where a customer is based in the EU, the EU GDPR, to the extent it applies to us.
We do not currently use any analytics or tracking cookies on this website. See our Cookie Policy for the current, short list of what this site actually sets. If that changes, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated first.
We do not collect, upload, or have any access to your source code, your compiled output, or the contents of any jar you process with the Software. Protection happens entirely on your own machine or build infrastructure.
The Software validates your license against our server on each build, with a signed, cached validation token allowing continued use for a limited offline grace period if our server is unreachable. This check confirms license validity. It does not transmit your code or output.
We retain account and license data for as long as your license is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and support purposes. You can request deletion of your account data at any time. See Section 6.
We share data only with the service providers necessary to run the Service: our payment processor, our hosting provider, and our licensing platform, each bound to protect it, and never sold to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk
We are based in England. Some of the service providers we use to run the Service, for example a payment processor or hosting infrastructure, may be based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that is the case, we rely on a UK adequacy regulation, an International Data Transfer Agreement, or the provider's own equivalent safeguard, so your data stays protected to UK GDPR standards wherever it is actually processed. We will name the specific providers here once our payment and licensing platform is finalized.
We will update the last updated date above when this policy changes, and post material changes here before they take effect.
